The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has begun issuing licenses to virtual private network (VPN) service providers under its Class License for Data Services. According to a recent news release, PTA has already granted licenses to three companies to offer VPN services.
The PTA has urged all VPN providers currently operating without a license to obtain the necessary Class License as soon as possible. This will ensure they meet the country’s regulatory standards and avoid any disruptions to their services. VPN providers are encouraged to complete the licensing process promptly to ensure their customers experience uninterrupted service.
For more details on the licensing process, eligibility criteria, and application forms, providers can visit the PTA’s official website.
